Etiquette

1. Mobile phones should not be used on the rink or on the bank. Please ensure that mobile phones are on silent.

2. Please be considerate to the bowler on the mat by refraining from conversation that can be overheard.

3. Foul language is strictly prohibited.

4. Please refrain from entering into discussions in mid-rink as it is likely to disturb the flow of the game on adjoining rinks.

5. When playing on the outside rinks please walk wall side rather than closer to the inside rinks.

6. In the interest of safety when a bowler is intending to FIRE please warn players and spectators of the intention to so do. The other bowlers on the rink must be alert and be prepared to protect adjoining rinks from the moving bowls and jack. It is unacceptable to just stand and watch.

It would be appreciated if members could tidy up before leaving the club. This includes cups and other items e.g. sweet wrappings. By doing so the club will be left in a tidy way when others (including visitors) arrive.
